The Gathering Circle
In 1976, Seeding Justice was born from an intentional gathering of people with wealth who wanted to change the world around them.
In honor of our roots as the McKenzie River Gathering, we created The Gathering Circle: a group of Seeding Justice family and community members who are interested in going deeper into the movement for justice, and want to stay up-to-date with everything we are doing across the region.
Gathering Circle members will be the first to know about our grants and awards, new initiatives, and updates, and will receive invitations to workshops, events, and group conversations about the movement for justice.

“Seeding Justice does critical work in communities around Oregon to inspire and grow the social justice movement. Being a monthly donor is my small part to ensure this important work has funding it can count on.” –Liz Baxter, Oregon Public Health Institute and former Seeding Justice Foundation Board Member
We also accept gifts of stock and we hope you will include us in your estate plans!
Our Donor-in-Movement Funds have reimagined donor-advised giving.
“When you establish a Donor-in-Movement Fund at Seeding Justice, you not only contribute to our collective work, but also establish a space in community with other donors in which to be grounded, to continuously learn, and to be only a phone call away when those unpredictable political moments that can define social justice movements occur.” — Rachel Robasciotti, Founder, Robasciotti & Philipson Social Justice Investing
